Founded in 2000 by Thuy Mai, DiCentral established itself as a global provider of business-to-business (B2B) and application-integration-as-a-service (iPaaS) solutions. Mai, who served as Chairman and CEO, has a background in electrical engineering and computer science, which he leveraged to address complex supply chain challenges. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the company focused on simplifying Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and API integration for its clients.

DiCentral's business model revolved around a cloud-based integration platform offered as a subscription service. The company generated revenue by facilitating the automated exchange of critical business documents, such as purchase orders and invoices, between a vast network of trading partners. Its client base spanned numerous industries including retail, manufacturing, logistics, automotive, and healthcare, serving a range of companies from startups to the Fortune 1000. DiCentral provided solutions for various fulfillment models, including shipping to distribution centers, direct-to-store, and drop-shipping.

The company's core product was a suite of supply chain applications designed to integrate with clients' existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and accounting software.
