About Dexian

The story of Dexian isn't about one company, but a strategic fusion of several. It begins with two separate storylines. In 1994, Mahfuz Ahmed founded Digital Intelligence Systems, also known as DISYS, in Virginia. Three years later, in 1997, Dr. Jay Cohen started Signature Consultants in Florida. Both companies specialized in IT staffing and consulting, steadily growing in their respective markets. The major turning point came in April 2021, when DISYS acquired Signature Consultants. This single move brought together two of the largest IT staffing firms in the U.S., creating a combined entity with significant scale and revenue approaching one billion dollars. Mahfuz Ahmed continued as CEO of the unified organization, with Jay Cohen remaining to oversee Signature's operations. This combination set the stage for the next evolution. In 2023, the integrated company, along with other strategic acquisitions, officially rebranded as Dexian. This wasn't just a name change; it represented a new, unified platform designed to offer a more comprehensive suite of workforce and technology solutions globally. Today, under the leadership of CEO Maruf Ahmed, Dexian operates as a major player in the industry, with nearly 12,000 employees worldwide and serving many Fortune 500 companies.
