Hangzhou Baizijian Technology Co., Ltd. (杭州百子尖科技股份有限公司, also known as Apogee) is a Hangzhou-based provider of machine vision inspection and advanced process automation solutions for smart factories, founded in July 2014. Its machine vision business, built around the Wintriss (微觉视) brand, sells intelligent inspection cameras, patented light sources and defect-recognition software for online surface inspection of circuit boards, films, lithium batteries, non-woven fabrics, metals, paper, glass and solar materials. Its process automation business develops the 奥秘仿真 process simulation platform, operator training systems (OTS), advanced process control products and teaching simulators for chemical, petrochemical, refining and nuclear industries and for universities and vocational schools, including the DeskPlant desktop smart-factory teaching series. The group has subsidiaries in Hong Kong, the United States, Taiwan and mainland China, and filed for a listing on the Shanghai STAR Market in 2020.
