About DePoly
DePoly is a Swiss climate-tech company that chemically recycles PET and polyester waste into virgin-quality monomers (PTA and MEG) without relying on fossil feedstocks, handling dirty, mixed or hard-to-sort streams that mechanical recycling struggles with. Based in Switzerland, it sells recycled building blocks back to plastics, fashion and consumer-goods partners (collaborations cited with Odlo, PTI and Beiersdorf) to close the loop on packaging and textiles. In April 2025 DePoly raised a $23 million seed including MassMutual Ventures alongside existing backers BASF Venture Capital, Beiersdorf Venture Capital and Zürcher Kantonalbank to launch a 500-tonne-per-year showcase plant in Monthey and prepare a larger commercial facility.
