Founded in 2021 by CEO Kook Jin Hyeok, a dentist who identified a market opportunity to digitize the traditionally analog process between dental clinics and labs, the company launched its Dentlink portal in December 2021. Initially focused on the domestic Korean market, the firm quickly pivoted its strategy in May 2022 to target international clients, particularly in the US. This strategic shift was validated in June 2022 when Kook personally visited US dental clinics, securing the first international customers. After an initial seed investment from SpringCamp in May 2022, Innovaid raised 1.5 billion won in a pre-Series A round in March 2023 from investors including Translink Investment and Big Basin Capital. This was followed by a successful Series A round in March 2025, securing approximately $3.75 million (5 billion KRW) from new investors Murex Partners and Wonik Investment Partners, alongside existing backers. These funds are intended to fuel further expansion of its US and Australian subsidiaries and develop additional digital solutions.
