Dejima Asset Management LLP (DAM) is a London-based alternative asset manager established in 2017 with a specific focus on Asia. The firm was founded by Trevor Sliwerski and Matthew Lonergan, who also launched the Japan Synthetic Warrant Fund in 2005. This fund is designed to offer long-dated, geared exposure to the Japanese equity market, providing investors with gearing in the range of three to five times without employing leverage. Over the years, the team has expanded, bringing on experienced Japan Fund Manager Rowan Chaplin in 2014 and Andrew Beresford-Davies in 2018.
