Operating primarily through an e-commerce-driven, direct-to-consumer model, Deerma has established a significant presence in the online marketplace. A pivotal moment in its history was the 2018 acquisition of Philips' water purifier business, which marked a significant step in its expansion. By 2020, international sales accounted for 30% of its revenue, indicating a growing global footprint. That same year, the company secured RMB 380 million in a Series B funding round led by Cathay Capital to fuel its international growth and product development. Deerma serves a broad consumer market, offering affordable yet well-designed home appliances to users worldwide.
