About D-CRBN

D-CRBN is an Antwerp University of Antwerp spin-off that turns industrial CO₂ emissions into circular carbon molecules using plasma-based conversion. Co-founded by Dr. David De Vos and Dr. Marco Klatt, its technology splits CO₂ into carbon monoxide and oxygen at near-ambient conditions, giving petrochemical, chemical and biogas operators a path to cut emissions while producing chemical feedstocks such as CO for acetic acid and polycarbonates. In May 2026 D-CRBN closed a €17.5 million Series A led by Astaia, with SFPIM and the EIC Fund participating, to scale the plasma CO₂-recycling platform for industrial deployment.
