Crosshub is a DeepTech company founded in South Korea in May 2024 by CEO Jay Jaeseol Kim, who has previous experience leading ID data infrastructure for Korean government platforms. The company develops fourth-generation hybrid services based on Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) to address the difficulties international travelers face with identity verification and payments.

The company’s main offerings are IDBlock and B·Pay. IDBlock is a digital identity verification service that utilizes blockchain, Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), and Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) technology. It allows users to create a digital ID by scanning their passport and using facial recognition, enabling them to prove their identity without disclosing unnecessary personal data. This system is designed to be compatible with global privacy standards such as GDPR and CCPA. B·Pay is a cross-border payment platform built on the IDBlock verification system. It enables travelers to use their domestic payment methods in other countries, integrating with local payment gateways. For instance, a user from Korea could make payments in Vietnam through the local Momo Pay network. The unified API flow for both identity verification and payment aims to reduce complexity and transaction costs for both users and merchants.

Crosshub operates on a business model that includes service subscriptions and transaction fees from its authentication and payment platforms. The company targets clients in the financial, travel, fintech, and e-commerce sectors, serving both B2B and direct-to-consumer markets. As of October 2025, Crosshub had raised $1.95 million in funding, including a seed round of approximately $590,000 (KRW 800 million) from investors such as Krypton, Zeta Plan Investment, MYSC, and Y&Archer. The company has achieved significant traction, with a cumulative transaction volume exceeding $369 million (KRW 500 billion) and partnerships with over 120 companies. Crosshub is expanding its presence with offices in Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam and is conducting over 20 proof-of-concept projects with major banks and global companies.
