Established in 1996 by Enrico Andreini, CommProve operated in the telecommunications sector, providing network monitoring, analytics, and service assurance solutions. The company's focus was on developing software for wireless operators that delivered real-time data acquisition and mediation. It collected and analyzed network usage information across various mobile networks, including LTE, and integrated this data with business rules and subscriber information. This enabled mobile network operators to gain visibility into their operations, manage financial performance, and monitor quality of experience.

CommProve's product suite was designed to address specific needs within telecom operations. The offerings included Quantiqa, a platform for service assurance, and Analytiqa, which provided capabilities such as churn prediction, revenue assurance, fraud detection, and quality management. For radio optimization and geolocation, the company offered the Quadriqa platform, while Indiqa was designed for performance management. Another tool, Qasar, enabled the analysis and benchmarking of Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). The firm's business model included providing these software solutions alongside services like system integration, consulting, and training to a clientele that included major players like Safaricom, Ericsson, and Tim.

Throughout its history, CommProve secured significant investment to fuel its operations. The company raised a total of $18 million over two funding rounds, with a Series B round in September 2008 bringing in $14 million, followed by another $4 million in October 2010. Key investors included Endeavour Vision, TVM Capital, and TLcom. According to some reports, the company is now considered out of business or deadpooled.
