CommerceX Holdings, established on October 1, 2025, is a Japanese holding company formed through the merger of RECORE Inc. and Sobani Inc. The company, led by CEO Shuhei Sato, aims to redefine the retail industry by integrating technology, marketing, and brand management. It was founded to create synergies between RECORE's expertise in DX support and systems for the retail and reuse sector, and Sobani's strength in EC marketing support.

The firm's business model is centered on a "brand x technology x marketing" trinity. It acquires and grows e-commerce and retail brands through M&A, implementing its proprietary cloud-based management system, "RECORE," to enhance operations. The insights and data gathered from managing these in-house brands are then leveraged to refine its consulting services and systems offered to external clients. The group includes subsidiaries like RECORE, which provides the core technology platform; Sobani, which handles EC consulting and marketing; and yuhaku, a luxury leather goods brand acquired by the group. This structure allows the company to support clients across both new and used goods markets, as well as both online and physical retail channels. Recently, in November 2025, CommerceX acquired Stoole Inc., a manufacturer of disaster-preparedness products, to enter the disaster prevention market and combine Stoole's product expertise with its own digital marketing capabilities.
