CodinGame, established in 2012 by co-founders Frédéric Desmoulins, Aude Barral, and Nicolas Antoniazzi, provides a specialized platform for developers and technology companies. This B2B segment, known as "CodinGame for Work," constitutes the company's primary revenue stream. A significant milestone in the company's history occurred in October 2021, when it was acquired by CoderPad, a San Francisco-based company specializing in technical interview software. The acquisition aimed to create a comprehensive technical hiring platform by combining CodinGame's gamified assessments and developer community with CoderPad's live interview environment. Both brands have continued to operate, with the entire CodinGame team joining CoderPad following the acquisition. Prior to this, CodinGame had secured $1.61 million in a seed funding round in November 2015 from investors including ISAI Gestion and Seed4Soft.
