CLUE Inc., established in August 2014 by Ryosuke Abe, is a Japanese startup focused on developing drone-related software for businesses. The founder, Ryosuke Abe, holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Tokyo. After working as an engineer at DeNA Co., Ltd. and a startup in Singapore, he returned to Japan to establish CLUE.

The company operates on a vision of making drones a common sight in society and aims to solve challenges in various industries through technology. CLUE primarily targets the construction sector, offering solutions to address issues like a declining workforce and the risks associated with working at heights. Its business model is centered on providing industry-specific Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, a unique approach among drone companies in Japan.

One of its main products is 'DroneRoofer', a package that includes the drone, an iPad, and support for flight permit applications, designed for roof and exterior inspections. This is complemented by 'RooferCloud', a cloud application for managing projects, creating estimates, and generating reports, which integrates with DroneRoofer. Another key offering is 'Drone施工管理くん' (Drone Construction Management), an application that enables automatic drone flight for large-scale construction site management. In December 2020, CLUE secured 2 billion JPY in a Series B funding round to enhance its existing products, hire talent, and invest in marketing and new business development.
