The firm was founded by Dong Yuandan, who serves as the chairman and legal representative. Strategically located in Chengdu's burgeoning electronics innovation hub, the company focuses on designing and selling RF front-end solutions.

The company's business model is centered on the fabless approach, concentrating on the research, development, and sale of advanced radio frequency (RF) acoustic integrated circuits and modules. Production is managed through deep collaborations with wafer foundries, and the company operates its own proprietary packaging and testing lines. This strategy enables Fengke Microelectronics to serve a broad client base that includes manufacturers of smartphones, tablets, automotive electronics, smart wearables, CPEs, and WiFi routers. Fengke Microelectronics offers a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance RF front-end products, including Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) and FBAR filters, duplexers, multiplexers, and integrated module chips. Its products cover the mainstream frequency bands for 4G and 5G (sub-6G) mobile communications. The firm secured a Pre-B round in January 2021 and a significant Series B round of nearly 200 million RMB in January 2023, with investors including Chengdu科创投集团 (Chengdu KETRONG Investment Group) and an investment fund from Dongfang Electric Corporation. These funding milestones underscore investor confidence in the company's technology and market position.
