Causa Prima

Causa Prima is a Madrid- and Munich-based fintech building a shared network where AI agents for buyers and suppliers automatically handle invoices, disputes, and payment-term negotiations. The two-sided network lets agents on both sides settle disputes in seconds and surface early-payment discounts that manual accounts payable and receivable processes often miss, replacing the email chains and weeks-long invoice disputes that define B2B payments. Co-founded by Maex Ament, who previously co-founded Taulia (acquired by SAP in 2022).
