Cashfeed provides an AI-powered financial administration platform designed to automate invoice management and bookkeeping for freelancers and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The company was founded in Ghent, Belgium, in 2025 by Dennis Verjans, Stijn Heuninck, and Maxim Vansteenkiste. The founding team combines experience in product development from Silverfin (Verjans), entrepreneurship with the sale of Proswimlab (Heuninck), and scale-up expertise from Zendesk and Criteo (Carolyn Bednarz is also mentioned as a co-founder). The company was launched from the Ghent startup studio StarApps.

Cashfeed's core service automates the entire invoicing workflow, from collection to payment. The platform automatically gathers invoices from various sources, including email, Slack, WhatsApp, and the PEPPOL network. It then uses artificial intelligence to process these invoices, which includes data extraction, removing duplicates, and preparing them for one-click payment. The system facilitates approval workflows through platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack and can automatically detect and follow up on unpaid invoices. For bookkeeping, Cashfeed's AI matches invoices with the correct ledger accounts, VAT codes, and cost centers, learning from past entries to improve accuracy.

The business operates on a SaaS model, with dynamic pricing that scales with the number of invoices processed per month. Cashfeed targets VAT-registered businesses, from sole proprietors to companies with up to 70 employees, as well as accountants. Its solution aims to significantly reduce the time spent on manual administrative tasks, claiming to make invoicing and payment management up to ten times faster. Since its launch in March 2025, Cashfeed has acquired over 350 clients and processed more than 35,000 invoices. In July 2025, the company secured €1.3 million in a seed funding round led by Pitchdrive, with participation from StarApps and support from VLAIO, the Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship agency. This funding is intended to accelerate product development, particularly in preparation for Belgium's mandatory e-invoicing mandate set for 2026, and to plan for future European expansion as similar regulations are adopted across the EU.
