By 2019, the company had grown to nearly 300 employees, with R&D personnel accounting for over 80%, and had invested in a 15,000m2 manufacturing base in Changde, Hunan.

Candela focuses on automating end-point distribution and on-site logistics for both indoor and outdoor environments. The company offers a suite of autonomous robots designed for specific environments. The "Sunny" series consists of unmanned logistics vehicles for multi-scene distribution within a 5km range outdoors. For indoor and semi-enclosed outdoor distribution, the "Candle" series of building robots handles the final 100 meters, capable of interacting with elevators and access gates. The "Star" series is tailored for hotel environments, providing item delivery, guidance, and consultation services. These robots are managed by a proprietary cloud scheduling system that enables coordinated, 24/7 operation and allows clients to monitor deliveries in real-time. During the COVID-19 outbreak, the company also adapted its technology to develop medical robots for hospitals.
