CAIRE Inc. is a global manufacturer of oxygen supply equipment, serving medical, commercial, and industrial markets. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Ball Ground, Georgia, the company has a legacy of over 50 years in developing oxygen delivery technology. In 2018, CAIRE was acquired by Niterra Co., Ltd. (formerly NGK SPARK PLUG CO., LTD.), a move intended to blend Niterra's sensing and ceramic technologies with CAIRE's oxygen expertise to address future healthcare needs.

The company's business is structured into two main segments: medical respiratory care and commercial on-site generation systems. For the healthcare sector, CAIRE provides a comprehensive portfolio of products for patients with chronic respiratory conditions, serving home care, hospice, long-term care, and hospital settings. This range includes stationary oxygen concentrators like the Companion 5 and NewLife Intensity, portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) such as the FreeStyle Comfort and Eclipse 5, and liquid oxygen systems. The company was a pioneer in portable oxygen technology, with its predecessors developing the first POC to receive FAA approval for in-flight use. More recently, CAIRE has integrated telehealth solutions, such as the myCAIRE platform, to allow for remote equipment management.

Through its AirSep division, CAIRE is a prominent producer of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) oxygen and nitrogen generation systems for commercial applications. These on-site systems provide a continuous supply of gas, eliminating the need for cylinder deliveries for a variety of industries, including aquaculture, wastewater treatment, mining, and healthcare facilities. The systems range from small generators to large-scale plants capable of producing up to 120 tons of oxygen per day. The business model involves direct sales and distribution to a wide array of clients, including medical equipment providers, hospitals, military entities, and industrial enterprises.
