CADDi is a Chicago- and Tokyo-based manufacturing technology company building a Manufacturing AI Data Platform that structures fragmented engineering, procurement, production and quality data so humans and AI agents can reason across decades of drawings and supply-chain records. Founded in 2017 by CEO Yushiro Kato (ex-McKinsey manufacturing) and CTO Aki Kobashi (ex-Apple, Lockheed Martin), CADDi evolved from a custom-parts marketplace into a SaaS platform spanning CADDi Drawer/Explorer drawing intelligence, CADDi Quote, CADDi Agent and domain workflow products used by major manufacturers including Hitachi, Subaru and Kawasaki across more than 20 countries. In September 2026 CADDi entered definitive agreements for a $114 million Series D at a $1.2 billion valuation with new investors Moore Strategic Ventures, Coreline Ventures, HR Tech Fund (Recruit), Woven Capital and Salesforce Ventures alongside existing Atomico, Globis Capital Partners and JPS Growth, bringing total funding to about $234 million to deepen proprietary AI, expand the platform and accelerate North American go-to-market after an earlier Series C / extension path.
