The service provides clients with a dedicated property manager and a digital portal for real-time transparency into all activities, transactions, and documents. The platform also includes features like a 24/7 emergency hotline, vendor management, and property inspections.

Buena's business model is centered on providing property management as a service, aiming to revolutionize the rental experience for both owners and tenants. The company has shown significant growth, with revenues increasing by over 300% in 2023 and over 500% in 2024. As of mid-2025, the company manages over 60,000 apartments and has a waitlist of more than 5,000 landlords. In July 2025, Buena announced it had raised a total of $58 million in funding, including a Series A round led by GV (formerly Google Ventures), with participation from investors like 20VC, Stride, and Capnamic. This funding is intended for further software development and expansion within Germany, with future plans to enter the U.S. market.
