Founded in 2017 in Los Angeles by Andrea Fiume, the company's creation was directly influenced by his personal background, having grown up in a family involved in both textile manufacturing and apparel brands. This firsthand experience with the inefficiencies of traditional B2B dynamics in the fashion sector motivated the development of a platform to streamline these processes.

The company provides a digital system where raw material suppliers, garment makers, and fashion brands can connect, communicate, and transact. Suppliers can create virtual showrooms to display their product catalogs, complete with images, videos, 3D maps, and sustainability certifications. For buyers and fashion brands, the platform serves as a tool for sourcing materials, managing supplier orders, and overseeing the entire workflow from garment design to final order. In July 2022, BSAMPLY was acquired by the Italian firm Dedagroup Stealth, a move intended to integrate its capabilities with Dedagroup's existing ERP platform and further streamline the entire fashion supply chain. Following the acquisition, BSAMPLY's headquarters moved to Italy.
