A significant milestone in the company's history was its acquisition by REMEC Broadband Wireless Networks in 2014, a move that followed an existing partnership between the two firms. This acquisition was intended to bolster BridgeWave's engineering, marketing, and sales operations. Subsequently, in 2015, the parent company REMEC joined the Moseley Associates group of companies. This integration provided BridgeWave with access to proprietary radio frequency (RF) technologies, reducing its reliance on third-party chipsets and enabling the development of proprietary RF ASIC chips for the 6-42GHz bands.

The company's product portfolio is centered on gigabit wireless bridges that operate in the 60 GHz, 80 GHz, and licensed 6-38 GHz microwave spectrums, offering speeds from 100 Mbps to multi-gigabit capacities. These point-to-point systems are engineered to transmit data at speeds equivalent to fiber, serving applications such as 4G/5G mobile backhaul, network extensions, and high-definition video surveillance backhaul. Products like the Flex4G-10000 deliver up to 9.7 Gbps capacity and support features required for modern LTE networks, including Synchronous Ethernet and IEEE1588v2 for timing. The systems often include integrated carrier-grade Ethernet switches with functionalities like Quality of Service (QoS), VLAN support, and optional wire-speed AES encryption for data security.
