About Brandis
Brandis India was an apparel and accessories company established in 2010 by founder Nischal Puri, with its headquarters located in Bengaluru, India. The firm's primary objective was to introduce brands with global standards to the Indian market.
The company operated with a multi-brand strategy, launching two main product lines: "2GO," a range of men's activewear, and "Beyouty," a collection of women's lingerie. The 2GO brand, also known as 2GO Activewear, offered items such as t-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, and track pants. These products were marketed with features like quick-drying, sweat-wicking, and anti-microbial fabrics. Brandis India's business model focused on physical retail distribution, with its products available in approximately 1,500 stores across 40 cities in India.
A significant milestone in the company's history was securing Rs 70 crore (approximately $12M) in a Series B funding round in November 2012, with Peepul Capital Fund III LLC as the sole investor. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2020, its associated legal entity, Brandis Manufacturing And Marketing Private Limited, reported revenues of ₹25.3 crore. Despite its initial growth and funding, both Brandis India and its 2GO activewear brand are now considered defunct or out of business.
