About Boostworks
In 2002, long before 'employee engagement' became a mainstream corporate buzzword, founder Mike Morgan started a company in Oxfordshire, UK, called People Value. The premise was simple: provide a platform for companies to offer their employees meaningful benefits and rewards. The business focused on software-as-a-service (SaaS) products that allowed organizations to deliver reward and recognition programs, benefits, and wellbeing solutions. The company grew steadily, proving its model with uninterrupted revenue growth for 15 years. This quiet consistency attracted attention. By March 2021, a significant event occurred: the firm was acquired by Ethos Partners through a management buyout (MBO). This move was designed to fuel further growth through product innovation and investment in sales and marketing. Following the acquisition, the company continued its evolution. In 2023, a major rebranding took place: People Value became Boostworks. The new name was chosen to better reflect the company's mission of going beyond simple perks and providing employees with the 'boosts' they need to thrive. As of 2024, the company's leadership evolved, with Andy Caldicott transitioning from CEO to a strategic role and Joanne Werker stepping in as the new CEO to guide its next chapter.
