About Boopos

Boopos operates as a marketplace and tech-enabled lending platform specializing in the acquisition of small businesses, particularly in the e-commerce and SaaS sectors. Founded in late 2020 by CEO Juan Ignacio Garcia Braschi and co-founder Javier Zurita Nunez, the company was established to address the financing gap for individuals and teams looking to acquire online businesses. Garcia Braschi, a former CFO at Cabify, experienced firsthand the difficulty aspiring entrepreneurs face in securing capital for acquisitions, which inspired the creation of Boopos.

The company's core offering is a streamlined, data-driven platform that provides non-dilutive, revenue-based financing for business acquisitions and growth. Unlike traditional lenders, Boopos offers a fast approval process, aiming to provide pre-approval within 48 hours and funding within seven days. A key feature of its model is that it does not require personal guarantees, allowing buyers to acquire companies without risking personal assets. The platform underwrites both the business being acquired and the buyer, using a proprietary model that analyzes merchant account connections and the buyer's social footprint. Initially, the financing was structured as a percentage of revenue, but it has since moved to a fixed annual interest rate model.

Boopos serves a clientele of aspiring business owners, individual investors, and aggregator management teams. It partners with numerous business brokers to feature pre-approved listings on its marketplace, facilitating a smoother and faster sales process. The business model generates revenue by charging interest on the loans it provides. In March 2025, Boopos was acquired by Founderpath in an eight-figure deal, a strategic move to gain access to larger pools of capital and better scale its lending operations. Following the acquisition, Boopos continues to service its existing portfolio while new originations are directed to Founderpath's platform.
