This expansion has been fueled by substantial funding, including a $17 million Series A round in 2020 led by Talisman Capital Partners and a $170 million investment from Warburg Pincus in 2021. In June 2023, Garrett Lewis, former COO of VCA Animal Hospitals, was appointed CEO, with co-founder Mo Punjani transitioning to the role of chairman.
