This background in building and scaling security platforms has informed Bold's approach. Hazut notes that the rise of AI created new security gaps at the endpoint but also provided the means to solve them, which was the catalyst for starting the company.

Bold's core product is an autonomous AI agent that runs directly on endpoint devices. This allows it to monitor all user activity, applications, and data flow in real-time, detecting unusual behavior and turning potential threats into resolved incidents automatically. By operating on the device itself, the system avoids API gaps and provides comprehensive visibility. The technology focuses on understanding user intent, data sensitivity, and destination risk to provide precise, actionable alerts rather than a high volume of notifications. This approach is designed to be effective without being obtrusive, allowing employees to work efficiently without introducing new risks. The company serves Fortune 500 companies and other enterprise clients in the US, including Shutterfly and Tekion, with a particular focus on highly regulated industries.
