About Bitgert

Bitgert is a crypto-engineering organization that launched in July 2021, initially as a project named Bitrise on the BNB Chain. The project rebranded to Bitgert in December 2021 and, in a significant development in February 2022, introduced its own native BRC20 blockchain, the Brise Chain. The founders of the project have remained anonymous, although some sources name Gert Sanem as the founder. The team has stated an intention to reveal their identities in the future to build trust within the community.

The core of Bitgert's offering is the Brise Chain, an EVM-compatible blockchain that boasts high transaction speeds of up to 100,000 transactions per second (TPS) and near-zero gas fees. It operates on a Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus mechanism, where staked validators are chosen to verify transactions, ensuring fast block times and security. This technical infrastructure is designed to provide a scalable and affordable environment for developers to build decentralized applications (dApps).

The Bitgert ecosystem includes a suite of products and services. These include the BRISE Swap, a decentralized exchange (DEX); a dApp Wallet with multi-chain support (BRC20/ERC20/BEP20); a staking program for its native token, BRISE, to earn rewards; and Bitgert Audit, a service offering security audits for smart contracts. The ecosystem also features a payments gateway called Paybrise, a real estate marketplace, and a bridge for transferring assets from other chains. The company's business model revolves around its native token, BRISE. Transaction fees on the network, although minimal, are paid in BRISE. Furthermore, a buyback mechanism is funded by a 5% tax on every transaction, which is used to purchase and burn tokens, making BRISE a deflationary asset.
