BioLiberty is a medical technology company founded in 2020 by Rowan Armstrong, Ross O'Hanlon, Shea Quinn, and Conan Bradley. The founders, alumni of the University of Edinburgh's MEng program, were inspired to start the company after one of them witnessed a family member with multiple sclerosis struggle with hand weakness. The firm is headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, at the National Robotarium, with a U.S. base in Boston.

The company develops soft robotic wearables and gamified digital therapy platforms to assist individuals with mobility-limiting conditions, initially focusing on stroke survivors. Its flagship product is the "Lifeglov," a soft robotic glove that assists patients with opening and closing their hand, combined with a digital therapy platform that provides tailored exercises and tracks metrics like range of motion and force. This system, known as Lifehub Clinic, is designed for use in clinical settings to deliver high-intensity, engaging therapy. It is powered by air and uses AI algorithms to provide controlled assistance calibrated to the patient's ability, with the goal of promoting neuroplasticity.
