Founded in 2015 as GameCoach, the company initially created a video lecture platform for gaming, generating revenue from its first day. The company officially changed its name to Bigpicture Interactive in 2017 to reflect its broader ambitions in the esports industry.

Its platform business includes LVUP.GG, an esports tournament platform for amateur and professional players; DAK.GG, a game data and statistics search service; and the World Cyber Games (WCG), a global multi-game esports competition. Key investors include Mirae Asset Venture Investment, Hana Ventures, Smilegate Investment, and Daesung Private Equity. This consistent financial backing has enabled the company to expand its services, launch new platforms, and establish a significant presence in both the domestic and international esports markets.
