A significant chapter in the company's journey came in late 2010 when it was acquired by Compuware Corporation. The acquisition was a strategic move for Compuware's Gomez business unit, which focused on application performance management. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Following the acquisition, founder Boris Zibitsker served as the CTO of Modeling and Optimization at Compuware for several years before starting his next venture, BEZNext, continuing his work in performance and cost optimization for cloud environments.
