Aventura Software, legally known as Aventura HQ, Inc., was a healthcare technology company established in 2007 and based in Denver, Colorado. The company was founded by Jon Cooper and was also known as ThinIdentity until October 2010. The company was led by CEO Howard Diamond and later by John Gobron, who served as President and CEO. Aventura successfully raised multiple rounds of venture capital, including a notable Series A of over $13 million led by HLM Venture Partners and Excel Venture Management, and a $14 million Series C financing. The company's trajectory culminated in its acquisition by Koninklijke Philips N.V. in April 2017, integrating its workflow automation and clinical information solutions into Philips' broader health technology portfolio.
