What begins in 1985 as a company focused on secure, web-based software and telehealth products takes a significant turn in the new millennium. Authentidate Holding Corp. initially provided tools for revenue cycle management and secure administrative and clinical workflows. A key moment arrived in 2016 when Authentidate merged with AEON Clinical Laboratories, a company founded by Sonny Roshan. This transaction was a reverse merger, effectively pivoting Authentidate into a healthcare technology firm with a focus on personalized medicine and advanced diagnostic testing. Following the merger, Sonny Roshan became the chairman of the combined company. The strategic shift aimed to combine Authentidate's secure technology platform with AEON's expertise in medical toxicology and genetic testing. To reflect this new focus, the company underwent a major rebranding. In January 2018, Authentidate Holding Corp. officially changed its name to Aeon Global Health Corp. This change signaled a broader mission centered on healthcare diagnostics and plans for international expansion. The company’s stock ticker also changed from ADAT to AGHC, marking a new chapter focused on providing clinically actionable medical information to physicians and patients.
