Atmos Labs, Inc., founded in 2019, is a development studio focused on creating metaverse-native sports and entertainment experiences. Headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, Atmos Labs was established by CEO Kevin Beauregard, a seasoned entrepreneur in the blockchain, DeFi, and NFT sectors since 2013. The leadership team also includes VP of Game Design Dylan Bushnell, son of Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, bringing a deep-rooted perspective on gaming's evolution.

The company is developing "Atmos," a competitive, play-and-earn virtual world set in an expansive sci-fi universe. The core business revolves around blending skill-based multiplayer gaming with a player-owned economy, utilizing NFTs and DeFi principles. This model allows players to have true ownership of their in-game assets—such as gear, teams, and identities—which can be traded on non-exclusive marketplaces. Revenue generation is planned through the sale of NFTs, like the 'Exos' exoskeleton suits required for competition, and by taking a percentage of race purses and secondary market sales.

The flagship product is a universe designed for metaverse-native sports, intended to combine the high-stakes competition of esports with the community and fandom of traditional sports. The first featured game is "ExoGP," a fast-paced, arcade-style flight racing game where players compete in hostile environments on the alien planet of Atmos. Players can mine resources to fabricate and customize their gear, enhancing performance and style.
