Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company (AIUC) is a San Francisco company that builds audits, standards and insurance so enterprises can deploy AI agents and frontier models with greater confidence. Co-led by Rajiv Dattani and Rune Kvist, AIUC created AIUC-1, a certification standard that stress-tests agents against thousands of risk-and-attack scenarios (jailbreaks, hallucinations, data leaks and related failures) with input from a consortium of security and risk leaders; press cites certifications or work with builders such as Cursor, ElevenLabs, Harvey, KPMG, Lovable, UiPath and Fin. After a $15 million seed from NFDG, AIUC raised a $40 million Series A in September 2026 led by Ribbit Capital with First Harmonic and Terrain, bringing total funding to $55 million to extend audits, standards and insurance from agents to frontier models.
