Arrayform Labs (doing business as Array Labs) is developing a satellite constellation to create a real-time, high-resolution 3D map of Earth. Founded in 2019 by CEO Andrew Peterson, the company aims to provide high-quality 3D imagery on a global scale. Array Labs is designing swarms of small radar satellites that fly in formation, imaging the same location simultaneously to produce detailed 3D maps, which they state can improve image quality by over 60 times compared to conventional methods.

The company's core service addresses the high cost and logistical challenges of current 3D data collection methods, like airborne LiDAR, by offering a more affordable and accessible space-based alternative. The data has applications across various sectors, including real estate, autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, defense, energy, climate/ESG, and insurance analytics. The business model is based on selling this 3D data to companies, and as of late 2022, it had received over $100 million in soft commitments.

Based in Los Angeles, Array Labs is an alumnus of the Y Combinator accelerator and the Seraphim Space Camp. The company has secured a total of $5.93 million in funding over four seed rounds. A significant round in October 2022 raised $5 million, led by Seraphim Space and Agya Ventures, with participation from others including Y Combinator and Liquid 2 Ventures. The company has active partnerships with entities like Maxar, Umbra, and Raytheon to advance its 3D product development.
