Aranya is a San Francisco-based AI infrastructure company that turns bare-metal servers into custom, production-ready GPU clusters in under 48 hours for AI inference providers, AI startups, data centres and neoclouds. Its open-source distributed OS engine, clusterdOS, is built on Kubernetes and automates GPU orchestration from kernel drivers to federation across clusters, while its AI-native multicluster operating system gives teams plain-language control over how inference and training clusters are designed, scaled and operated, with proactive monitoring and autonomous failure remediation. Aranya also offers fully managed clusters. The company says it manages more than $500 million worth of GPU infrastructure. Aranya was founded by CEO Christian Bhatia Ondaatje, Sasivarnan Kanaghasalam Sathyapriya and Aryamika Bhatia Ondaatje. On 1 September 2026 it announced $11 million in funding, comprising a $9 million seed round led by First Round Capital with Box Group, Vermilion Cliffs and Asylum Ventures, and a $2 million pre-seed round led by Asylum Ventures with Founder Collective, Parable VC and Uncommon Ventures. The funds will expand its engineering and go-to-market teams, support clusterdOS deployments and launch its multicluster interface.
