Apogee Photonics, founded in 2000 and headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was a supplier of high-speed, integrated optical components for the communications industry. The company was created from the July 2005 merger of ASIP and T-Networks. Apogee Photonics provided a broad line of 10Gb/s and 40Gb/s laser sources and receiver components for optical communications. Its products included thermistor-based temperature monitoring, modulator-based power monitoring products, electroabsorption-modulated lasers, and laser integrated modulators. The company's technology was utilized by tier-one system OEMs and module vendors globally.

The firm operated in the fiberoptic equipment and telecommunications service providers industries. Its primary business involved manufacturing and supplying these high-speed optical components to major system integrators and sub-system manufacturers. On November 17, 2003, Apogee Photonics acquired ThreeFive Photonics. The company raised a total of $9.7M in funding from investors including Finaventures, Atlas Venture, BlueRun Ventures, Intel Capital, and Redpoint Ventures.

On March 31, 2007, Apogee Photonics was acquired by CyOptics, a developer of Indium Phosphide (InP) based components for fiber-optic networks. This acquisition expanded CyOptics' high-speed source laser capabilities. Subsequently, CyOptics was acquired by Avago Technologies. Apogee Photonics is now considered a deadpooled company.
