Anafocus, operating under the legal name Innovaciones Microelectrónicas S.L., is a semiconductor company specializing in the design and production of custom CMOS image sensors and vision systems-on-a-chip (SoC). The company was established in September 2000 as a spin-off from the Institute of Microelectronics of Seville, a part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). It was founded by a team of researchers from the institute, leveraging their extensive experience in the microelectronics field. Rafael Romay currently holds the position of Vice President and General Manager.

The firm develops and markets a range of high-performance, on-chip camera and vision solutions. Its product portfolio includes custom CMOS image sensors, OEM camera kits, and single-chip solutions tailored for various markets, including industrial, professional, scientific, medical, and high-end surveillance. Anafocus's technology integrates a complete smart camera onto a single chip, which features an image sensor array and a low-power, high-performance image processor. Key features of their sensors include high sensitivity, low-noise pixels, global and rolling shutters, high dynamic range (HDR) sensing, and real-time image correction capabilities. The business model involves providing these custom-designed sensors and systems to top-tier camera manufacturers and other clients worldwide.

A significant milestone in the company's history was its acquisition by the British multinational e2v Technologies in August 2014 for approximately $39.2 million. This acquisition was intended to integrate Anafocus into e2v's High Performance Imaging division, expanding its capabilities in the machine vision market. Following e2v's acquisition by Teledyne Technologies in 2017, Anafocus became part of the Teledyne group and now operates as Teledyne Anafocus. The company is headquartered in Seville, Spain.
