Alpha Biopharma's flagship product is Zorifer® (zorifertinib), a next-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). This drug is specifically designed for the first-line treatment of adult patients with a specific type of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has metastasized to the central nervous system (CNS). A key feature of zorifertinib is its ability to fully penetrate the blood-brain barrier, a significant challenge for many existing cancer therapies, thereby treating brain metastases more effectively. In November 2024, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved Zorifer® for this indication, marking a major milestone for the company as it is the first drug of its kind to be approved based on a registration clinical trial specifically for NSCLC patients with CNS metastases. Beyond its lead asset, Alpha Biopharma has expanded its pipeline into immunotherapy through a strategic collaboration with Wugen Inc., focusing on developing "off-the-shelf" Memory NK and CAR-T cell therapies for various cancers.
