Aibo Medical Robot
Developer of robotic systems for vascular interventional surgery — precision, minimally invasive procedures that reduce X-ray exposure for clinicians.
About Aibo Medical Robot
Aibo Medical Robot develops vascular interventional surgical robots used in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular procedures. Based in Shenzhen and founded in 2020, the company designs robotic platforms that let clinicians remotely guide catheters and guidewires with high positional accuracy, improving procedure success rates and reducing patient recovery times while shielding surgeons from X-ray radiation during conventional interventions.
The company's lead system, PANVIS-A, is a vascular interventional surgical robot that received Class III medical-device registration in China in 2024 and has entered commercial launch. It is accompanied by the aiboAngio platform, and additional systems remain in development. The platforms integrate robotics with artificial intelligence, image guidance, virtual reality, big data and telemedicine, and are deployed in hospital settings for use by interventional specialists.
Aibo sells its surgical robot systems to hospitals, principally in China, and plans to expand the indications it covers and broaden hospital deployment. The company is venture-backed, having raised seed and Series A financing from investors including InterChina Capital and Long Hill Capital.
The founding team, led by Professor Shuxiang Guo, builds on decades of research in medical robotics and holds a large intellectual-property portfolio around interventional robot control. Aibo collaborates with Chinese clinical expert teams in vascular intervention and with academic partners on complex-lesion studies, with fully independent intellectual property across its systems.
