The core of Dror Ortho-Design's business is its proprietary ZSmile platform, a rebrand from its original Aerodentis system. This system is designed for patients of all ages to correct tooth malocclusion. Unlike traditional braces or clear aligners that require continuous wear, the ZSmile system is intended for use primarily while the patient sleeps, for approximately 10 hours a day. The business model targets both orthodontists and general practice dentists, offering a scalable service to grow their practices by providing a solution that does not require extensive orthodontic training to prescribe.

The product consists of a custom-made, thermoplastic smart aligner that fits over the patient's teeth and contains an inflatable silicone balloon. This mouthpiece is connected by a small tube to a user-friendly console that houses an air pump and pressure sensor. The system applies a pulsating pneumatic force to the teeth, gradually moving them into the desired position. This force is programmed and controlled by the dental practitioner through proprietary software, allowing for a highly customized treatment plan. A key feature is the use of AI technology and a patient app, enabling dental professionals to remotely monitor treatment progress and patient compliance, which reduces the need for frequent in-office visits. The first-generation system received FDA 510(k) clearance in May 2020, and as of early 2025, has been used to treat over 250 patients in Israel and Europe.
