Adamo Foods has secured significant funding to scale its operations. After an initial Smart Grant from Innovate UK and investment from Beeches Group totaling $620k in 2022, the company raised £1.5 million in a 2023 pre-seed round from SFC Capital and further Innovate UK grants. Most recently, Adamo closed a $2.5 million seed round co-led by Future Planet Capital, Joyful Ventures, and UKI2S to move from lab-scale to pilot production. This capital is earmarked for building commercial facilities, expanding the team with food industry experts, and developing a new chicken breast alternative. The company's go-to-market strategy involves an initial launch in high-end UK steakhouses to build brand prestige, followed by a broader rollout across Europe.
