Actio, registered as Actio Holding GmbH, was established in Berlin, Germany, in 2020. The company was co-founded by Nikita Fahrenholz and Daniel Stahlkopf. Fahrenholz, a serial entrepreneur, previously co-founded the food delivery giant Delivery Hero and the online real estate platform BookaTiger (later Tiger Facility Services). Stahlkopf brings experience from his time at Delivery Hero as well.
