Oura's accounts allow a revenue comparison over time. Whoop's release gives a bookings run-rate, which cannot establish its revenue relative to Oura. A shared revenue chart or valuation-to-revenue ranking would therefore overstate what the disclosures support.

Dexcom backs Oura and Abbott backs Whoop. These relationships connect the two wearables companies with glucose-monitoring businesses. Oura also has Eli Lilly as an investor; Whoop has Mayo Clinic. The financing records establish investment relationships, not the commercial results of those partnerships.

Sources and methodology

Dealroom company profiles, private valuations, round participants and funding amounts use a next-gen API snapshot dated 29 September 2026. This article is generated from that saved snapshot and does not refresh on each visit. The build cross-checks displayed API figures against the retained source observations.

Oura's IPO range, share count and financial figures come from its 21 September 2026 S-1/A. The postponement on 29 September 2026 is taken from TechCrunch's report of that day. Trailing revenue is calculated as fiscal 2025 plus the nine months to June 2026 minus the corresponding prior-year period. WHOOP's 31 March 2026 release supplies its bookings run-rate and membership disclosure. Missing comparable figures are left unfilled.

The funding chart follows 35 selected consumer-health wearable companies across rings, bands, sleep hardware and consumer glucose monitoring. It includes Sky Labs' historical financing; Sky Labs is excluded from the private ranking following its listing. One duplicate profile is excluded. Annual sums use rounds marked as venture in Dealroom; undisclosed amounts are omitted. The classification follows the API, so a round containing multiple financing components may require further separation. This is a selected cohort, not the entire wearable market.

The ranking shows selected private companies with valuation observations from 2022 onwards of at least $50M. Supersapiens is excluded because the research flagged its operating status as uncertain. Earlier observations are excluded, and estimated values are labelled. Oura's September 2025 API valuation is $10.9B, versus $11B as announced. For Eight Sleep the March 2026 observation is used, not the disputed August 2025 value. Oura's early valuations through 2021 and Whoop's through 2019 are estimates.

What the comparison shows

Oura and Whoop are close on private valuation and recorded headcount, and both attract large financing rounds. Their published commercial figures do not yet allow a like-for-like revenue comparison. With Oura's IPO postponed, neither company has a public price. Their last private rounds, $10.9B and $10.1B, remain the reference for each other and for the smaller private peers.
