ERP software are end-to-end solutions that help organizations manage and integrate core business processes like accounting, procurement, supply chain management, and human resources. ERP systems enable data flow across departments and often include enterprise performance management for financial planning and reporting. ERP has already seen huge startup successes emerge like Workday, Infor, and Odoo. But two trends are opening huge opportunities for new entrants 1) AI-driven ERP. All ERP companies are integrating AI into some processes and workflows, but a wave of fully native AI ERP systems is trying to allow for immediate plug-ins and insights, bypassing the typically extensive implementation and integration. 2) Vertically, even niche, specialized ERP systems for manufacturing, health & life sciences, real estate & construction, among others. We mapped 300+ ERP companies into different sectors, while also highlighting key characteristics like cloud-based ERP, open-source and no-code ERP, AI-driven ERP and API and system integration.
