While initially limited to diabetic patients, these drugs are now accessible to nearly the entire U.S. population - at a hefty price, injections reaching over $15k annually for life. From 2019 to 2022, prescriptions for GLP-1s surged by 2,082%. Given this growth and the steep prices, it's unsurprising that the global obesity therapeutic market is expected to be valued between $100 billion and $200 billion by 2030. However, the market extends beyond prescription weight loss drugs developed by major pharmaceutical companies, encompassing additional solutions to accompany drug takers.
