A living view of the humanoid robotics boom — record capital, the companies stockpiling it, and the shift of the race's center of gravity to China. More charts to come.
VC investment into humanoid robotics startups has reached $11.0 billion in 2026 — more than double 2025's full-year record of $4.8 billion. The biggest cheque of the year so far: a $1.4 billion Series C for Germany's Neura Robotics.
A handful of companies hold most of that capital. Figure and Neura Robotics have each raised over $1.5 billion since 2020, and twelve companies now sit on war chests of $570 million or more.
The money is also moving east. China accounts for nearly two-thirds of humanoid robotics funding in 2026, up from a quarter in 2020, while the US share has fallen to 12%.
