Datarooms: new and improved

The dataroom has always been a core feature on dealroom.co for sharing non-public information between Founders and VCs. Now this feature has been significantly improved. When you log in you will notice a blue button at the top-right of the screen (next to the search bar). Here’s how it works, depending on if you are a founder or an investor.

If you are a VC

The button is called “my projects” and takes you to an overview of all datarooms that you have been invited to, or that you co-manage.

If you are a founder

The button is called “create dataroom” (and “my dataroom” once you created yours). Here you can upload files, KPIs and add a basic summary of your envisaged funding round. Who can see your stuff? There are two options:

  1. Anyone: visible to any of the 1,500 professional investors on dealroom.co who have investor-level access.
  2. Invited parties only: only investors who are on your target investor list, or investors whom you have directly invited, can see your KPIs and / or transaction summary (once approved by the dealroom.co team).
